Lab 3 Follow-up: Ethics and Human Subjects Research
Goal.
In this activity you will learn about research protections for human subjects. You will also get certified for being eligible to conduct human subjects research at Harvard.
Suggested Readings
Individual Activity. (Due Friday, 3/27)
Do one of the following:
(a) complete Harvard's online training for human subjects research certification. Select Social and Behavioral. On average, it takes about 15 minutes per module. You do not have to do it all at one time. You can stop and start as your schedule permits. Go to CITI. Create a username and password, and select Harvard University (Cambridge/Allston campus) as your institution. Then you follow the directions. Select "Human Research (Protection of Human Subjects)". Or,
(b) complete Harvard's in-person human subjects training seminar on March 26, 4:00-5:30pm, Harvard Hall 202.

Email a copy of your completed certification to Sean Hooley by Friday, 3/27.
